WHEREAS, the City must contribute twenty percent of the grant award which equates <br />to $2,750; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to accept the grant funds, the City of Ramsey must enter into a Clean Water <br />Fund Grant Agreement with the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the execution of the Clean Water <br />Fund Grant Agreement with the Metropolitan Council and to accept the $11,000 grant <br />allocation for a water efficiency rebate program. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Stewart, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 23rd day of June, 2026. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />Resolution #26-154 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
