PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT <br />As outlined in the "Elevate Hope House: Mixed -Use Community Development Proposal," Elevate <br />Hope House is seeking approximately $300,000 in Local Affordable Housing Aid (LAHA) funding <br />in partnership with the City of Ramsey to support the development of affordable housing on <br />City -Owned Parcel #47C in Ramsey. <br />This supplemental statement is provided to clearly demonstrate: <br />• readiness to manage public affordable housing funding <br />• experience with government -funded programs <br />• compliance systems and administrative capacity <br />• long-term stewardship commitment <br />• confidence in execution and sustainability <br />ALIGNMENT WITH LAHA PURPOSE <br />The proposed project aligns directly with the intent of LAHA funding through: <br />• expansion of affordable housing supply <br />• long-term housing stability for families <br />• nonprofit -led housing development and ownership <br />• community -based housing solutions <br />• integration of supportive services alongside housing <br />The housing units are intended as long-term affordable rental housing serving mothers and <br />children working toward stability, independence, and self-sufficiency. <br />This is a permanent housing investment designed to remain affordable and mission -driven for <br />the long term. <br />ORGANIZATIONAL HOUSING EXPERIENCE <br />For nearly ten years, Elevate Hope House has developed and operated housing and stabilization <br />programs for mothers and children across Anoka County. <br />This experience includes multiple active housing environments that demonstrate both <br />operational capacity and long-term stewardship. <br />
