Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-160 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 2026 MSA PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-02 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous Municipal State Aid (MSA) street segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 — 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic survey and wetland boundary determination of the project area in the total amount of $5,560.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $5,430.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-136, adopted June 24, 2025, the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2026 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-02; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising for bids for 2026 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-02. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project #26-02 2026 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14' day of July, 2026.
