ORDINANCE #26-16 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COR DESIGN FRAMEWORK AND CHAPTER <br />106 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />The City Council of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />The following pages of the COR Design Framework, as identified by the page number in the PDF, <br />are hereby repealed and replaced with the contents found in Attachment A to this Ordinance: <br /> <br />Page 83-85, “Street Trees and Plantings” section <br />Page 121, “Definitions” subsection under “Minimum Standards” section <br />Page 127, “COR1 Development Standards” table and footnotes <br />Pages 129-130, “COR2 Development Standards” table and footnotes <br />Page 132, “COR3 Development Standards” table and footnotes <br />Page 134, “COR4 Development Standards” table and footnotes <br />Page 136, “COR5 Development Standards” table and footnotes <br /> <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #26-16 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance: <br />“The purpose of this ordinance #26-16 is to amend the COR Design Framework and Chapter 106 <br />of the City Code of Ramsey, Minnesota, to consolidate and simplify bulk, performance, and <br />streetscaping standards for the COR subdistricts, align the permitted land uses with comparable <br />tables in Chapter 106, and make corrections to language in the COR Design Framework for <br />improved accessibility and to align with current practices.” <br /> <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This Ordinance becomes effective upon publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota the ___ day of ___________, 2026.
