<br />Councilmember Stewart introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-160 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 2026 MSA PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-02 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous <br />Municipal State Aid (MSA) street segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital <br />Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic <br />survey and wetland boundary determination of the project area in the total amount of $5,560.00; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, <br />Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $5,430.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-136, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2026 MSA <br />Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-02; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of <br />advertising for bids for 2026 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26- <br />02. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City <br />Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City <br />Improvement Project #26-02 2026 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
