<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-161 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />RIVERSIDE WEST STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />#26-06 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Riverside <br />West subdivision as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk Anderson for <br />topographic survey of the project area in the amount of $1,366.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, <br />Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $3,855.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-140, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />Riverside West Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-06; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-156, adopted July 8, 2025, <br />the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. for <br />sewer cleaning and televising of the project area in the amount of $12,641.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-125, adopted May 26, <br />2026, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday May 26 and <br />Friday June 5, 2026; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, four (4) bids were received, opened and tabulated on July 7, 2026, and the <br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids; and <br /> <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />North Valley, Inc. $327,246.47 <br />Park Construction Company $353,438.10 <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $354,255.45 <br />GMH Asphalt Corporation $364,691.90 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
