Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-166 RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION STAKING CONTRACT FOR RIVERSIDE WEST STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-06 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Riverside West subdivision as identified within the 2026 — 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk Anderson for topographic survey of the project area in the amount of $1,366.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $3,855.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-140, adopted June 24, 2025, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Riverside West Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-06; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-156, adopted July 8, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. for sewer cleaning and televising of the project area in the amount of $12,641.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-125, adopted May 26, 2026, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-161, adopted July 14, 2026, a contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of $327,246.47 for said improvements; and WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking in the total not -to -exceed amount of $6,802.00 from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for said improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to accept Bolton & Menk, Inc. proposal for construction staking for said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
