CASE #1: EDC Organizational Development <br /> <br />The Commission will review the goals, strategies and actions identified at <br />the last two meetings. Also, members will set priorities for the action <br />items. The commission will also discuss the EDC/EDA organization <br />structure. <br /> <br />CASE #2: Appointment to the Hall of Fame <br /> <br />As the EDC is aware, each year at the Ramsey Business Appreciation Day, the City <br />inducts a local business person into the Ramsey Business and Economic Development <br />Hall of Fame. The Commission has used the following general criteria for the annual <br />inductee: <br /> <br />1. Has been involved in all aspects of the community. <br />2. Has provided for the maintenance or expansion of the commercial/industrial tax base <br /> of the community through the development of new business ventures or the retention <br /> or expansion of existing business. <br />3. The expansion or retention of the employment base of the community. <br />4. Has been a positive influence on the community and not been in violation of City <br /> Ordinances in the past. <br /> <br />The EDC requested a list of those who were considered for this honor last year.
