Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-166 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION STAKING CONTRACT FOR <br />RIVERSIDE WEST STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26- <br />06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Riverside <br />West subdivision as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk Anderson for <br />topographic survey of the project area in the amount of $1,366.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, <br />Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $3,855.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-140, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Riverside <br />West Reconstructions, Improvement Project #26-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-156, adopted July 8, 2025, <br />the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. for sewer <br />cleaning and televising of the project area in the amount of $12,641.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-125, adopted May 26, <br />2026, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-161, adopted July 14, <br />2026, a contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$327,246.47 for said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking in the total not-to-exceed <br />amount of $6,802.00 from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for said improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to accept Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />proposal for construction staking for said improvements for and on behalf of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br />
