Commissioner Lubarski introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-110 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA, <br />CONCERNING THE RAMSEY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA PROPOSAL <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by the Ramsey Economic Development Authority to establish <br />a Redevelopment Project Area as described herein (the "Redevelopment Project Area"), in <br />connection with the development of an approximately 100,000 square -foot youth athletic facility <br />located on 10 acres in the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, and adopting the Redevelopment Plan for <br />the Redevelopment Project Area (the "Plan"); all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable <br />law, including Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.101, 469.001 through 469.047, and 469.090 <br />through 469.1082; have been submitted to the Planning Commission, City of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />(the "Commission"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed the Plan to determine the consistency of the <br />Plan with the Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Plan is consistent with the City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan and the <br />Commission recommends approval of the Plan to the City of Ramsey City Council. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Allshouse, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Vice Chair Randy Bauer <br />Commissioner Jeffrey Lubarski <br />Commissioner Michael Allshouse <br />Commissioner Bradley Cochrane <br />Commissioner Debra Musgrove <br />Commissioner Layee Sanoe <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
