AUTHORIZE TRANSFER OF $5,000 <br />TO FUND 25-YEAR ANNIVERSARY <br /> <br />Background: <br />In anticipation of the City of Ramsey's 25-Year Anniversary, the City has designated $15,000 as <br />funding for the event. Of this total, $10,000 has been allocated in the 1999 General Fund budget <br />for relevant 1999 expenses. It is anticipated that approximately $5,000 will be expended in 1998, <br />on such items as downpayments on tents, chairs, etc. <br /> <br />The $5,000 that is requested for 1998, was not included in the 1998 adopted budget. A transfer <br />from the contingency fund, in this amount, will need to be made. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br />Recommend that City Council authorize staff to transfer $5,000 fi:om the contingency fund to <br />fund any prepaid expenses of the 25-Year Anniversay in 1999. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />FC: 10/13/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
