Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-194 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THIRD AMENDMENT TO LEASE; MILLE LACS <br />MOTOR SPORTS II INC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the “Tenant”) has leased indoor and outside <br />storage space located at 6781 and 6745 Hwy 10 NW and depicted as “Area A, B, C, D and E” (the <br />“Lease Space”) on the attached lease agreement dated May 28, 2025 for several years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the “Tenant”) entered into the First <br />Amendment to Lease on January 27, 2026 for outside storage space adjacent to 6781 Hwy 10 NW <br />and depicted as “Areas A and B (the “Lease Space”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the “Tenant”) entered into the Second <br />Amendment to Lease on May 26, 2026 for outside storage space adjacent to 6781 Hwy 10 NW <br />and depicted as “Areas A and B (the “Lease Space”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has requested the City extend the lease until <br />November 30, 2026 to allow more time to secure a long-term solution for Power Lodge here in <br />Ramsey to continue leasing Areas A and B depicted on Exhibit A of the Third Amendment to <br />Lease; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports, Inc. (Power Lodge) has been a good tenant for the <br />duration of its previous leases with the City and it current lease ends on August 31, 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached Third <br />Amendment to Lease ($1.50 / SF for outside storage) including but not limited to the terms below: <br /> <br />Lease Term (September 30, 2026 through November 30, 2026): $4,625.00/month <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of <br />State of Minnesota as of August 14, 2026. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Third Amendment to Lease with Mille <br />Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
