COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />5.01: 2025 Photo Contest Review <br />Recreation Coordinator Proulx provided background information on the photo contest, which <br />began in 2017, noting that the photos are used in different ways, including the website, park kiosks, <br />Ramsey Resident, and the puzzles used for the puzzle contest. She reviewed the submissions and <br />winners for each category. <br />Commissioner Barten commented that it was great to see some new people participating. <br />Motion by Commissioner Barten, seconded by Commissioner Olson, to affirm the 2025 Photo <br />Contest winners. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chair Ealain; Commissioners Barten, Olson, and Arts. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: Commissioners Anderson and Bennett. <br />6. COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br />6.01: Recreation Program Updates <br />Recreation Coordinator Proulx highlighted upcoming programming opportunities and events. <br />Commissioner Barten thanked staff for the work to plan for the farmers' market, noting that many <br />people are excited for that in addition to all the other programming opportunities. He referenced <br />the placards at Alpine Park, noting that they are wearing out. He also welcomed Councilmember <br />Peters. <br />Chair Ealain also welcomed Councilmember Peters. <br />7. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Commissioner Barten, seconded by Commissioner Arts, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chair Ealain; Commissioners Barten, Arts, and Olson. Voting No: <br />None.
