PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on August 9, 2001, <br />at Alpine Park, 6600 Alpine Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Chairperson Todd Cook <br />Commissioner Jill Johns <br />Commissioner Tom LaMere <br />Commissioner Jon Olds <br />Commissioner Steve Ostrum <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Michael Rolfe <br />Also Present: Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Cook called the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting to order at 6:03 <br />p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Commissioner Johns, seconded by Commissioner LaMere, to approve the Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting agenda for the meeting dated August 9, 2001 as amended. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Johns, LaMere, Olds, and <br />Ostrum. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rolfe. <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br />Commissioner Olds noted that under Case #2 first paragraph 40 inches should be changed to 40 <br />foot. <br />Motion by Commissioner Olds, seconded by Commissioner Johns, to approve the following Park <br />Commissioner meeting minutes as amended: <br />1) Park Commissioner regular meeting minutes dated June 20, 2001. <br />Park and Recreation Commission/August 9, 2001 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
