Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-201 RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION STAKING CONTRACT FOR 2026 MSA PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-02 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous Municipal State Aid (MSA) street segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 — 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic survey and wetland boundary determination of the project area in the total amount of $5,560.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, 2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $5,430.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-136, adopted June 24, 2025, the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2026 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-02; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-160, adopted July 14, 2026, City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-195, adopted August 25, 2026, a contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of $1,129,093.12 for said improvements; and WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking in the total not -to -be -exceeded amount of $8,300.00 from Hakanson Anderson Associates for improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to accept Hakanson Anderson Associates proposal for construction staking for said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
