Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-201 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION STAKING CONTRACT FOR 2026 <br />MSA PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-02 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous <br />Municipal State Aid (MSA) street segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital <br />Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic <br />survey and wetland boundary determination of the project area in the total amount of $5,560.00; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-101, adopted May 13, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, <br />Inc. for geotechnical survey of the project area in the amount of $5,430.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-136, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2026 MSA <br />Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-02; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-160, adopted July 14, <br />2026, City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and <br />authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-195, adopted August 25, <br />2026, a contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$1,129,093.12 for said improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking in the total not-to-be- <br />exceeded amount of $8,300.00 from Hakanson Anderson Associates for improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to accept Hakanson Anderson <br />Associates proposal for construction staking for said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
