<br />'. <br />.. <br /> <br />~ " <br />" <br /> <br />REC'O MAR 0 1 2007 <br /> <br />111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 . <br />Record ID 1787999 <br /> <br />490701.001 <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-12-380 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0787 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />HAVE MULTIPLE GROUND SIGNS ON A SINGLE PARCEL AND TO EXCEED SIGN <br />SIZE RESTRICTIONS AS ESTABLISHED IN CITY CODE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sophia-Ramsey LLC properly applied for a conditional use permit to have <br />multiple ground signs on a single parcel and to exceed sign size restrictions as established in City <br />Code on the property generally known as 7900 Sunwood Drive and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on December 7, 2006, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that City Council approve the request. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #0787, a conditional use permit ("Permit") to have multiple <br />ground signs on a single parcel and to exceed sign size restrictions is hereby granted to <br />Sophia-Ramsey LLC ("Permittee"). <br /> <br />2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to erect two (2) free standing signs, in addition to <br />the existing ground sign used to advertise the price per gallon of gasoline, on the Subject <br />Property . <br /> <br />3. The gross surface area of the free standing ground sign shall not exceed 253 square feet per <br />face, including the Ramsey Town Center identification, nor exceed an aggregate gross surface <br />area of506 square feet. The height of this sign shall not exceed twenty-five (25) feet. <br /> <br />4. The gross surface area of the monument sign shall not exceed fifty-four (54) square feet per <br />face, including the Ramsey Town Center identification, nor exceed an aggregate gross surface <br />area of 108 square feet. The height of the monument sign shall not exceed ten (10) feet. <br /> <br />5. The installation of the signs on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from the City <br />of Ramsey. The exact location of both signs is subject to the approval of both the City and <br />Connexus Energy. Footings for each sign must be sized by a licensed engineer. <br />
