<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01-040 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0788 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE ON AN UNIMPROVED SURFACE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Corey Moyer, ofRV World, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has <br />properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for outdoor storage <br />on an unimproved surface at the property located at 6300 Bunker Lake Blvd NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Tract C Registered Land Survey No. 30, except the west 169.41 feet thereof, together <br />with Tract E of said Registered Land Survey, subject to easement of record, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.06 of the Ramsey City Code on January 4,2007, and that the public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned E-l Employment; the adjacent parcels to the east, west, <br />and south are also zoned E-l Employment and the property to the north (across Bunker Lake <br />Blvd) is zoned R-3 High Density Residential. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately 2.5 acres. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant operates an RV dealership located at 7405 Highway 10 NW. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant has an agreement with the owner of the Subject Property to utilize a <br />portion of the land, in the southeast corner of the property, for off-site storage of surplus <br />Recreational Vehicles (RVs) and travel trailers. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant is requesting an Interim Use Permit to allow for the storage of up to forty <br />(40) RVs and/or travel trailers on the Subject Property for five (5) years. <br /> <br />7. That interim use permits, by definition, are limited to a maximum timeframe of five (5) years. <br /> <br />8. That outdoor storage areas are required to be properly surfaced to control dust, which is <br />accomplished through either bituminous pavement or concrete. <br /> <br />9. That the proposed storage area currently consists of class V gravel. <br />
