Mayor Gamec congratulated Nicole and Jacob Michaelson on their actions in the emergency
situation. He stated this goes to show how many good young persons there are out there, and
how knowledgeable they are.

CITIZEN INPUT

Carol Stafford and Deb Laymond of Independent Luxury Benefit Fund were present to provide
information about the Hope House located at 16921 Feldspar Street NW in Ramsey that will be
given away. Ms. Stafford stated the home will be given away on March 18 after the Parade of
Homes. They are looking for applicants that might need a type of home like this to enable
them to stay in their home with their family longer and avoid the nursing home setting. The
home is designed with a bonus room upstairs where a nurse or family member can stay with the
person. The house is green built which includes non-toxic stains paints and flooring, and
features EnergyStar appliances.
