Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-215 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2026, PAYABLE 2027 TAX LEVY AND <br />SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2026, payable 2027, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br /> <br /> GENERAL LEVY <br /> Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 2,678,509 <br /> Collected as Pavement Management Levy 1,935,510 <br /> Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 86,367 <br /> Collected as Property Tax General Levy 17,061,541 <br /> <br /> $21,761,927 <br /> DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br /> CIP Bond – Municipal Center 1,108,450 <br /> CIP Bond – Fire Station #2 284,393 <br /> 2023 Equipment Certificates 191,888 <br />2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 98,889 <br />2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 108,568 <br />2020 CIP Bond – Public Works Campus 127,276 <br />2022 GO Road Improvement Bonds 1,088,063 <br /> <br /> 3,007,527 <br /> <br /> TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 24,767,454 <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $1,194,323 (105% of debt service) related <br />to the 2021 GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. <br />Levy amount will be $1,108,450. <br /> <br />2) That the City of Ramsey's 2026 Public Budget Meeting for 2027 Payable is scheduled for <br />Tuesday, December 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />3) That the Finance Director be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to <br />theAnoka County Auditor's Office on or before Wednesday, September 30, 2026. <br /> <br />
