(,17 Y O F RAf"iSEYy MINiNESOTA ANNUAL BUDGET <br />PARK FUND <br />FUNCTION OF FUND <br />The function of the Park Fund is to account for revenue <br />that is appropriated to operate the City Park system. It may de - <br />rive its revenues from tax levy, revenue sharing, State Aid or <br />Park Administrative Trust Fund (providing Council directs by <br />resolution). The Park Fund also accounts for all its expendi - <br />tures. <br />The Park Fund iTh a special revenue fund of the general <br />fund. It does, liowever,-maintain its own fund balance. The <br />City Council can liit the fund balance it may carry forward each <br />year if that should ever be a problem. <br />-80-
