Supplement #8 - Unallocated Activity which is for the following:
Submitted Adopted
to Council by Council
$40, 495
$36,495 Council sinking fund to be used
for special studies, etc.
Supplement #9 - Transfers which was for the following:
Submitted Adopted
to Council by Council
$18,250
Which was intended to be put
in a building sinking fund which
the whole Council had discussed
at one time.
Supplement #10 - Park and Recreation Fund which was for the following:
Submitted Adopted
to Council by Council
$ 4,605 $ 4,605
Purpose is to hire a man which
would work in the Park area 20
percent (%) of his time. The
rest of his time is shown in
Supplements 5 and 6.
9,000 9,000 Play equipment at Titterud Park
350 350 Liming Machine
$13,955 $13,955
The total cost of the Supplements adopted by the Council was $194,130 less
a $960 reduction for estimated mileage for Council persons (which was reduced
from 40¢ per mile to 20¢ per mile) which reduced the supplement cost to '
$193,170,
It should be noted that due to the City becoming subject to the levy limi-
tation in the budget process for 1982 a majority of the Council members
felt they should act now on the items covered in the above supplements. Be-
cause the levy limit will not provide adequate funding for a growth city.
It is for this reason why it is so critical that the City of Ramsey get its
fair share of State Aid.
