Park and Recreation Commission <br />Meeting Date: 04/09/2026 <br />By: Mark Riverblood, Engineering/Public Works <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Consider Park and Recreation 2026 Outdoor Meeting Schedule <br />5. 3. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />For many years, the Park and Recreation Commission has held its regular meetings outdoors in the months of May <br />through September (weather permitting). This provided the Commission an opportunity to inspect and comment <br />on parks and projects as a group —and it afforded residents access to the Commission on a neighborhood level. <br />On occasions of inclement weather, the Commission would convene the meeting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. The <br />purpose of this case is to confirm the Commission's desire for outdoor meetings in 2026, and accordingly, <br />approve the locations based upon discussion. <br />The following are the proposed dates if the Commission agrees to continue meeting in parks for the Summer.
