Grab a few friends and join us for a fun evening of line dancing at The Draw! This casual evening session will start with instruction for a few dances, then open up into time to dance, practice, and enjoy the music and summer weather in the park. We'll do easy line dances with a brief instruction prior to each one. Electric slide, cupid shuffle, cotton eye Joe, Macaroni, Fireball, chicken dance, The Continental, and Rockin' the Wagon. No prior experience is needed, and no partner is required. • Date: August 19 from 5:30 — 7:30 p.m. outdoors at The Draw Amphitheatre. • Cost: $12.50/session • Registration: Pre -registration is required, space is limited • Ages: All, youth under the age of 16 must have an adult registered in the class to accompany them. Youth Flag Football Clinic This four -session clinic with i9 helps kids build skills, confidence, and sportsmanship through drills, game strategies, and game -like play. • Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, August 11-20 at Emerald Pond Park o Time: Varies by age group • Cost: $85, includes t-shirt • Registration: Pre -registration is required, space is limited • Ages: 3-9 Youth Soccer Clinic This four -session clinic with i9 helps kids develop dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and game -play skills in a supportive environment. • Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, August 17-26 at Emerald Pond Park o Time: Varies by age group • Cost: $85, includes t-shirt • Registration: Pre -registration is required, space is limited • Ages: 3-9 Pool Party at Alpine Dog Park Bring your pup out for a dog -friendly afternoon with kiddie pools, vendors, pup cups, prizes, and optional grooming services. Pretty Paws will be onsite to provide $10 nail clippings and grooming options. Chuck and Don's — Elk River will have cold treats, swag, and prize drawing! • Date: August 27 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Alpine Dog Park • Cost: FREE to attend, fees for grooming services. We are so excited to host this weekly, family -friendly gathering celebrating music and community spirit! See the full concert series lineup online. • Dates: Thursdays, June 18 — August 20, 6:30 — 8 p.m. at The Draw • Cost: FREE to attend, food and drinks will be available for purchase. Explore this year's theme, Animals Around the World with the Rumriver Art Center and Ramsey Parks and Recreation. Kids will receive step-by-step instructions and experiment with new materials. Each project becomes unique as creativity takes over.
