Shows <br />direct supervision. <br />Staff Authority ( ) is the formal authority that flows <br />throughout the organizational chart designed to advise and assist <br />those who possess line and/or staff authority. <br />Functional Authority ( ), <br />Staff Authority, is possessed by <br />able to exercise some control in <br />bilities and accomplish specific <br />designed to compliment Line and <br />those individuals who must be <br />order to meet their responsi- <br />tasks. <br />-15- <br />
