Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-230 RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRIVATE KENNEL LICENSE TO TIFFANI AND MICHAEL RIMSTAD AT 15591 IODINE STREET NW RECITALS 1. Tiffani and Michael Rimstad (the “Applicants”) have properly applied for a Private Kennel License per City Code Section 10-60 to keep and care for six dogs on the property addressed as 15591 Iodine Street NW, which is legally described as: nd Lot 5, Block 2, Wildlife Sanctuary 2 Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota (the “Subject Property”); and 2. That the Subject Property is owned by the Applicants; and 3. That City Staff, consisting of the City Planner and Lead Community Service Officer, conducted an inspection of the property to verify habitability and safety for the dogs and occupants of the property; and 4. That City Staff believes the property is suitable for the Private Kennel License; and 5. That the Applicant agrees to maintain compliance with all applicable state laws and City Code pertaining to the keeping of six dogs on the Subject Property. 6. That the City Council reviewed the request and held a Public Hearing at their meeting on October 13, 2026. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the Private Kennel License for the keeping of six dogs on the Subject Property contingent upon the following conditions: CONDITIONS 1. That the Applicants, Tiffani and Michael Rimstad, as the property owners and residents, are the sole holders of the Private Kennel License. 2. That the license is not transferrable to any other property or owner.
