5. 3. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />10/27/2026 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Promote economic growth and development. <br />Title: <br />Approve Elevate Hope House (EHH) Christmas Market Fee Waiver Approval <br />Purpose/Background: <br />EHH is a non-profit organization supporting mothers experiencing homelessness. EHH is proposing to host a fundraising <br />Christmas Market at Ramsey City Hall on Saturday, December 5th and asked City Council to consider a fee reduction. <br />According to the 2026 fee schedule, the proposed cost would have been $1,100. At the October 13, 2026, City Council work <br />session, the consensus of the Council was to support the fee reduction from $1,100 to $600. <br />The $600 fee will cover overtime costs associated with staffing the city hall for the event. Proposed rental hours are as <br />follows: <br />Friday, December 4, from 3 pm - 6:45 pm: this time will be used for set-up for the vendors during hours in which city hall is <br />normally staffed. <br />Saturday, December 5, from 7 am - 5 pm: this time will be used for set-up, open market (9am-3pm), and tear down once it is <br />closed.
