Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-255 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS FOR NORTHFORK <br />NORTH TRAIL CONNECTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-14 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #16-05-101, adopted May 24, <br />2016, the City Council approved an easement agreement for a perpetual 16-foot trail easement on <br />Northfork, Outlot B, and Northfork Trail Addition, Outlot A, to provide for construction of off - <br />road public pedestrian trail improvements in lieu of on -road pedestrian trail improvements along <br />Andrie Street and 164th Lane; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to construct aggregate surfaced trail <br />improvements within the 16-foot easement as identified in the 2026 — 2035 Capital Improvement <br />Plan as project 17-PARK-007, Northfork North Trail Connection; and <br />WHEREAS, staff proposes to solicit Requests for Proposals for construction of said trail <br />improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to solicit Requests for <br />Proposals for construction of Northfork North Trail Connection, Improvement Project #26- <br />1 4. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
