Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-09-288 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2006, PAYABLE 2007, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2006, payable 2007, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund. 101: General Fund - General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy Collected as Property Tax General Levy $ 625,000 393,375 6.450,101 $7,468,476 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Lease Revenue Bond (collected as property tax): Municipal Center Certificates of Indebtedness CIP Bond - Fire Station #1 811 ,969 613,023 152,342 1,577,334 DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY Mississippi River Stormwater Subdrainage District 43,348 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $9.089.158 2) That the City of ~amsey will not be levying the $353,742.38 related to the $4,225,000 GO Improvement Bond, Series 2005B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County, Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. 3) That the City of Ramsey's 2007 Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 4, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for Monday, December 11,2006, at 6:00 p.m.
