<br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-12-408 <br /> <br />CONSIDER APPROVING 2007 CITY HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION FOR <br />NON-UNION EMPLOYEES AND LELS-PATROL AND LELS-PATROL <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to offer employees a contribution toward health insurance <br />premiums, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed changes for health insurance contributions are in line with <br />what will be offered to all employee groups, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Patrol Officers have requested the option of taking compensatory time off <br />in lieu of receiving overtime compensation for certain duties. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />l) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Authorize the following health insurance contribution for non-union, LELS-Patrol, and <br />LELS-Sergeant employees: <br /> <br />Insurance: 2007: Aware Gold Single: $437.50 VEBA Single: $442.60 <br />2007: Aware Gold Family: $679.00 VEBA Family: $685.00 <br /> <br />Approve the memorandum of understanding regarding compensatory time off for patrol <br />officers. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember E1vig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />
