Councilmember Look commented it may send the wrong message if there IS <br />opposition to the resolution; it would be wise to send individual letters. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig withdrew the second to the motion on the floor. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Strommen requested staff to include information in the <br />Council Update on where their individual letters should be sent. Councilmember Jeffrey <br />indicated he would assume it would be appropriate to draft the letter of support on City <br />stationary. Interim City Administrator Nelson responded in the affirmative. She indicated staff <br />will provide interested councilmembers with information pertinent to their letters of support. <br /> <br />Upcoming Events <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen announced the next Ramsey3 forum is scheduled for March 29th at <br />7:00 p.m. in the Alexander Ramsey Room. The topic will be innovative zoning. The topic of the <br />fourth and final forum will be transportation alternatives and is scheduled on April 12th. The <br />open space technology public forum is scheduled for May 4th and 5th. This will be the launching <br />for the Comprehensive Planning process. Residents are being asked to fill out a survey about the <br />five best things in Ramsey.
