Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION TO OFFICIALLY MAP A PARCEL ALONG TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 IN <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey (City) and Anoka County (County) support the <br />preservation and advance acquisition of right -of -way along the Trunk Highway 10 (TH 10) corridor <br />for transportation related access and highway improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Metropolitan Council, County <br />and City all participated in the TH10 Access Management Study which identified conceptual <br />alternatives for access improvements at existing intersections along TH10 in Ramsey; and <br />WHEREAS, the TH10 Access `Management Study specifically identified concept <br />alternatives for access improvements at a location south of TH 10 and west of Armstrong Boulevard <br />relative to future access needs for a river crossing; and <br />WHEREAS, all concept alternatives at this location require the acquisition of the subject <br />property, also identified as property number 29- 32 -25 -21 -0002 and 20- 32 -25 -24 -0001; and <br />WHEREAS, the County intends to purchase the property utilizing a combination of <br />financial resources to include funds from the Revolving Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF) program; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, eligibility to utilize RALF funds for the acquisition requires an official map be <br />completed and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is responsible for ensuring the official map is completed and adopted; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City supports the acquisition of the property in its entirety and agrees to <br />take necessary, action to officially map the property. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the City will officially map the subject property in cooperation with Anoka County. <br />2. That the City will modify and adopt necessary zoning ordinances relative to this property to <br />ensure land uses are consistent with the intent of the official map. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Msl11M <br />
