<br />11. If acting a an auxiliary business sign, it shall be located <br />on the valance only, shall not exceed four square feet in <br />area, and the height of the lettering, numbers, or <br />graphics shall not exceed four inches. <br /> <br />iii. Limited to two such signs per business <br /> <br />IV. If acting as the main business sign, it shall not be in <br />addition to a wall-mounted or applied letter sign. <br /> <br />7. Window or door signs, provided that the following <br />standards are met: <br /> <br />1. The sign shall not exceed ten percent of the window or <br />door area or four square feet, whichever is less. <br /> <br />ii. The sign shall be silk screened, hand painted, applied <br />letters/graphics, neon tubing or other sign technologies <br />that meet these standards. <br /> <br />iii. Limited to one sign per business, applied on either the <br />window or the door, but not on both. <br /> <br />iv. The sign shall not have an opaque backing of any type <br />although smoked glass is allowed. <br /> <br />v. May be in addition to only one of the following: a wall- <br />mounted sign, a freestanding sign, an applied letter <br />sign, a projecting sign or a valance awning sign. <br /> <br />8. One free-standing sign, provided that the following <br />standards are met: <br /> <br />1. The building in which the advertising business is located, <br />shall be set back a minimum of six feet from a public <br />street right-of-way. <br /> <br />11. The area of each face of the signboard shall not exceed <br />six square feet and the signboard shall not have more <br />than two readable faces. <br /> <br />iii.
