Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator ,Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br />Heidi Geiss, Youth First <br />Archie Zahler, Developer of Kings Island Townhome <br />Greg Austin, General Contractors of Minnesota <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:47 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was amended to move Case No.6 up first in the agenda as Case No. A. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />. A) Youth First Program at Oak Terrace <br /> <br />Ms. Heidi Geiss, Youth First, provided an update on the Youth First after school program at Oak <br />Terrace Estates Trailer Park. Ms. Geiss stated Youth First made connections at the Oak Terrace <br />Estates Trailer Park through a family club that ran on Wednesday nights for six weeks this <br />summer. About 30 to 50 families participated each night; Youth First served dinner and held <br />activities for the kids. Youth First also picked up kids in a school bus for field trips for about <br />four hours every Wednesday. Ms. Geiss stated Oak Terrace Estates management donated a <br />trailer to Youth First for a location to run the after school program this fall, and the Ramsey <br />Lions gave Youth First a donation to further that along.
