circumstances, which cities have a City Administrator and which cities have City <br />Managers. <br /> <br />During the discussion of precincts versus wards, it was noted that something does have to <br />be done as the precincts are just too large. That may mean adding more precincts. It was <br />pointed out that the City's Charter states in Section 3.2.2 that the City can only have three <br />precincts. The Charter directed that the City Attorney give an opinion on that issue at the <br />January meeting also. <br /> <br />Commission Input <br /> <br />1) Schedule Future Meeting <br /> <br />The City Attorney and the City Administrator will both be out of town during the week of <br />January 21, therefore, the January Charter Commission meeting will be held on January <br />28, 1999, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2) Future Discussions <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that Chapter 14.2 will be placed on another Charter <br />agenda when the lawsuit is no longer in front of the City. <br /> <br />The terms limits for the Commission also have to be reviewed at the January meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kiefer and seconded by Commissioner Mam tO adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Peterson, Commissioners Kiefer, Mam, <br />Anderson, Donovan, Netzloff, Spain-Brist, and Swokowski. Voting No: None.
