Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolntion and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-02-066 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST OF OAKWOOD LAND DEVELOPMENT FOR AN EXCEPTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE #06-07 AND EXTENDED BY ORDINANCE #07-01 ON THE R-l RESiDENTIAL: RURAL DEVELOPING DISTRICT. WHEREAS, on February 27, 2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolntion #07-02- 065 adopting Findings of Fact #0792 relating to Oakwood Land Development's request for an exception to the development moratorium on the R-l Residential: Rural Developing District; and WHEREAS, the properties for which the exception is requested are as follows: PIN: 10-32-25-34-0005 PIN: 10-32-25-34-0006 PIN: 09-32-25-44-0006 PIN: 09-32-25-44-0002 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the City Council finds an undue hardship resulting from strict compliance with City Ordinance #06-07 and #07-01 because the Petitioner is providing necessary public right-of-way to the City, and delaying consideration until the expiration of the moratorium will further increase property holding costs for the Petitioner and possibly prevent the City from acquiring the needed right-of-way. 2. That the City Council herein approves Oakwood Land Development's request for exception to the development moratorium relating to the Subject Property based on the Findings of Fact adopted by the City Council on February 27,2007. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmemher Dehen Councilmember Look Councilmemher Olson Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: None
