<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-04-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR OUTDOOR SALES, RENTAL, AND DISPLAY IN THE E-l <br />EMPLOYMENT DISTRICT, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rick Burnham, of Brothers Properties, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicant", has properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an Conditional Use <br />Permit for outdoor sales, rental, and display at the property located at 6300 Bunker Lake Blvd <br />NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Tract C Registered Land Survey No. 30, except the west 169.41 feet thereof, together <br />with Tract E of said Registered Land Survey, subject to easement of record. Anoka <br />County, Mhmesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Co=ission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9,03,05 of the Ramsey City Code on April 5, 2007 , and that the public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned E-l Employment; the adjacent parcels to the east, west, <br />and south are also zoned'E-l Employment and the property to the north (across Bunker Lake <br />Blvd) is zoned R- 3 High Density Residential. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately 2.5 acres. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant currently owns the property, and is leasing to multiple heavy industrial <br />users with a large amount of outdoor storage. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant wishes to lease the subject property to Rain for Rent, a business that rents <br />and sells water storage equipment. <br /> <br />6. That Rain for Rent proposes to display and store multiple pieces of heavy equipment on the <br />property that are for sale and rent. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant is seeking a Conditional Use Permit, in accordance with City Code, to <br />allow for outdoor display of items for rent and sale. <br /> <br />8. That outdoor display areas are required by City Code to be properly surfaced with bituminous <br />pavement or concrete. <br /> <br />9, That the proposed storage area, approximately 50 feet by 397 feet, currently consists of Class <br />5 graveL <br /> <br />7 <br />
