In order to be eligible for a premises permit, an organization must meet <br />each of the following requirements: <br /> <br />1. The organization has at least fifteen (15) members that are residents of <br />the cily, Such organization must conduct regular meetings at least <br />monthly, and each person must attend not less than fifty percent (50%) of <br />all. regularly scheduled meetings and pay dues annually in order to be <br />considered a member of such organization for qualification under this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />2. The physical site for th~ organization headquarters or the registered <br />business office of the organization is located within the oily and has been <br />located within the city for at least two (2) years immediately preceding the <br />applioation for a license. <br /> <br />3. The p.hysical site where the organization reguiarly holds its meetings <br />and conducts ~s activities, other than lawful gambling and fundraising, is <br />in the cily and has been located within the city for at least two (2) years <br />immediately preceding application for a license. <br /> <br />4. Meet all the qualifications for a lawful gambling license issued by the <br />Board. <br /> <br />5, The paddle wheel game is prohib~ed except for meat raffles, and no <br />premises permll shall be issued to any organization to conduct the paddle <br />wheel game exceplfor meat raffles, (Amend. 10/18/05, Ord, 315) <br /> <br />6. The maximum rent allowed in leases to charitable organizations must. <br />be in compliance with what is set forth in Slate Statute. No other services <br />or expenses provided or contraeled by the lessor may be paid by the <br />organization, including but not limited to trash removal, janitorial and <br />Cleaning services, snow removai, iawn services, electricity, heat, security, <br />security monitoring, storage, other utilities or services, and in the case of <br />bar operations, cash shortages. Any other expenditures made by an <br />organization that are related toa leased premises must be approved by the <br />Director of the Gambling Control Board.
