ease #3:

Update on Open Space Referendum Process

Board Member Sibilski stated that he spoke with Plymouth's Director of Parks & Recreation.
Eric Blank, and Andover's City Administrator, Jim Dickenson, regarding their recent successful
open space referendums. Board Member Sibilski distributed a summary of each city's process,

Board Member Sibilski stated that Plymouth had identified a specific dollar amount that was
needed to complete a greellway corridor whereas Andover identified a threshold that residents
were willing to pay per household and based their referendum on that figure. Consensus of the Board was to try and schedule
this for Aprill6.

Coordinator Anderson infonned the Board that there was a fee to have Mr. Anton come out and
present/discuss this study. However, Embrace Open Space. which is the organization that
commissioned the study. has agreed to cover that expense if the presentation is open to residents
of Dayton as well. The Board concurred and was happy to open it up for others that were
interested.

Board Member Max requested that a case be added to next month's meeting concerning creating
an electronic version of the Ramsey Tree Book.

BOARD INPUT

None

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Board Member Max and seconded by Board Member Freeburg to adjourn the
meeting.

Motion carried, Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Board Members Bentz, Freeburg.
