<br />C-/O <br /> <br />Councilmemher introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT SPECTATORS BAR & GRILL IN <br />RAMSEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has applied for a premise pennit for gambling at <br />Spectators Bar & Grill, 6415 Highway 10NWRamsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, . the Ramsey Lions Club. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise pennit application for the <br />Ramsey Lions Club, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Spectators Bar & Grill, 6415 <br />Highway 10 NW Ramsey <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 3D-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board_ <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by COlUlcilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: . <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the lOth day of April, 2007, <br /> <br />-69- <br />
