Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Haas St&fen. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Lions Picnic/Application for a One-Day 3.2 Beer License <br /> <br />Council noted that the Ramsey Lions are again applying for a one-day, 3.2 beer license for the <br />Community Picnic that is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 1998, at Central Park. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve the <br />application for the Ramsey Lions Club for a one-day, 3.2 beer license for the Community Picnic <br />scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 1998, at Central Park and to approve the request to waive the $25 <br />fee for such an event. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen and Zimmerman. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Haas Steffen. <br /> <br />Case #2: Retain Land Acquisition Consultant for T.H. #47 STP Project <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported that on May 4, the City will be holding the first of two public <br />hearings on the T.H. #47 project, which extends from 142nd Avenue through 153rd. The City is <br />the lead agency on the project and is responsible for obtaining the necessary right-of-way. He <br />presented a listing of properties from which land will be required to facilitate the project.
