CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Acting Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:04 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Trudy Matilla, 7451 - 149th Avenue NW, Ramsey, stated that Lots 9 and 10 o£Pineview <br />Estates 2nd Addition are owned by Jamie Sharp and he's building two houses on one lot <br />(10) and he's expressed to the neighbors that he plans to add additional houses to Lot 9. <br />He has also communicated that he intends to run a street though to C.R. #116 and he says <br />that the City is aware of his intentions. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he is not aware of any such plans and whatever Mr. Sharp is <br />planning would have to be presented to the City. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Mr. Sharp has received approval to put one house <br />and two business buildings on one lot. He can build a home on the second lot. He would <br />have to apply to the City and he has not done that. She added that the Building Inspector <br />would not issue two house building permits for one lot. Mr. Sharp would also be <br />prohibited from subdividing that land until sewer and water is available or until the four <br /> <br />City Council/May 26, 1998 <br /> Page 2 ofll <br /> <br /> <br />
