<br />14050 Basalt Street: Staff will continue to work with Ace Solid Waste for development of the <br />site. A draft purchase agreement was submitted to staff in late January. <br /> <br />14230 Basalt St NW: Building has been demolished and the site has been cleared. <br />Staff will now market the property for development. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />Ramsey Crossings: Ryan Company has withdrawn from the project and the City is currently in <br />direct contact with Target. Preliminary discussions have gone well and Staff will continue to <br />work towards securing this important anchor tenant for the Ramsey Crossings Project. The City <br />must move diligently to get the deal done as to stay on schedule for the condemnations that have <br />been commenced and need to be complete by July 24m. TIF District No.13 has been created for <br />this project. The structure ofthe deal is still being worked on and Staff is looking at all potential <br />funding sources. The EDA, with its expanded commercial purview, could be considered as one <br />of many potential funding sources to help secure the land, construct roadways and infrastructure, <br />and to demolish buildings. <br /> <br />Additional Parcels Identified for Acquisition: Condemnation hearings for Sparkle Pool, KIH <br />erecting and Eugene Brown are scheduled for May 21, 2007. The price should be set after the <br />hearings and the acquisition will take place. <br /> <br />Parks Property: Demolition is complete and the site will be marketed for development. <br /> <br />Future Meeting Topics: <br />1.
