CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 1998, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec then introduced Terri Klosterman, leader of Brownie Troop #302. Ms. <br />Klosterman introduced her co-leader Julie. Brownie Troop #302 did a flag presentation <br />and then led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Following the pledge, each of the <br />girls introduced themselves to Council and the public. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that the Ramsey Youth Athletic Association is in need of <br />volunteers and he urged Ramsey residents to attend the meeting of the Association and to <br />volunteer if possible. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the applicant of Case #4 - C.R. Concrete, has asked to <br />be removed from the agenda and rescheduled for the November 10, 1998, agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve <br />the agenda as amended. <br /> <br /> City Council/October 27, 1998 <br /> Page 2 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
