n) <br /> <br />Request for Acceptance of an Automatic Defibrillator Unit from the State of <br />Minnesota <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to <br />adopt Resolution #98-12-300 approving the receipt of an automatic external defibrillator <br />from the Department of Public Safety for the Police Department. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beahen, <br />Beyer and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />4) Review and Adopt 1999 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to <br />adopt Resolution #98-12-301 adopting the 1999 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges that <br />deal with utilities. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, <br />Beahen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />5) Joint Powers Agreement for Central Records Project - Police <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to <br />adopt Resolution #98-12-302 showing an intent to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement <br />with Anoka County to purchase hardware and software for the Police Department <br />(Central Records Project) upon approval of the agreement by the City Attorney and that <br />the amount of the agreement not exceed 10 percent of $48,000, and that the first year <br />costs will not exceed an additional $7,000, and that communication be sent to Anoka <br />County mentioning the fact that they have a larger tax base to charge costs to and that this <br />is one cost that should not be pushed onto the City who has a smaller tax base with which <br />to spread the costs. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, <br />Beahen and Zimmerman.
