Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-01-030 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #07-07 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL MSA STREETS) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted December 12, 2006, a feasibility study for the 2007 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #07-07 (Sealcoat and Crackfill of segments of Municipal State Aid strreets, more specifically described below: and, 167th from CSAH 5 to T.H.47 Alpine Dr from Puma St. to CR 56 Sunwood Dr. from CR 116 to CR 57 WHEREAS, the report was provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $99,760. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of February, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Olson Councilmember Dehen Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Look Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: none RESOLUTION #07-01-030 Page 1 of2
