<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01-034 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #07-11 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF SECTION 22 <br />UNPLATTED AREAS NORTH OF ALPINE DRIVE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted December 12, <br />2006, a feasibility study for the 2007 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #07-11,bituminous overlay of <br />streets in Section 22 unplatted areas north of Alpine Drive, more specifically described below: <br />and, <br /> <br />153rd Lane from Zirconium St. to C.R.57 <br />153rd Lane from Zirconium St. to the cui de sac <br />154th Lane from Hematite St. to Xenon St. <br />Hematite St. from 156th Ave. to Alpine Dr. <br />Xenon St. from 153rd Lane to 154th Lane <br />Zirconium St. from 153rd Lane to 154th lane <br />Zirconium St. from 154th Lane to a point 350 ft north <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report was provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$150,888. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of <br />February, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Dehen <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-01-034 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
