Amendment by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, that the lighting standards <br />for commercial districts apply. <br /> <br />Amendment Carded: Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, and <br />LaDue. Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the escrow account would remain open and asked Mr. Sharp to <br />return with plans for the other buildings, including the greenhouse, at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carded: Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, and LaDue. <br />Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharp asked what his recourse is if he disagrees with the Planning Commission. Chairperson <br />Bawden said Mr. Sharp should address the City Council. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the request would go before the City Council January 13th. She <br />added if Mr. Sharp has plans prior to next week, he should bring them to the meeting to present to <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner LaDue asked for any altematives to solve Mr. Sharp's need for additional space to be <br />approved on this plan. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik suggested that the Commission recommend approval of one additional <br />building not to exceed 1,500 sq. ft. with vinyl siding and roof design similar to that of the house. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Jensen, seconded by Commissioner LaDue, to also recommend approval <br />of a second commercial structure not to exceed 1,500 square feet with roof and siding to be <br />compatible with the home documented. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Jensen, LaDue, and Deemer. <br />Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated he would like to see what is presented to the City Council on January <br />13th. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated she would like an updated site plan by 5:00 p.m., January 7th. <br /> <br />Case #2: Review Proposed Chapter 9 Amendments <br /> <br />The Planning Commission briefly reviewed changes proposed by the Chapter 9 Sub Committee. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, to direct Zoning Administrator <br />Frolik to incorporate any non-content based modifications suggested by Commissioner Deemer and <br />present to City Council and the City Attorney for their examination and recommendation. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/January 6, 1998 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
