<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-02-058 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2007 LABOR AGREEMENT WITH AFSCME <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and AFSCME have been negotiating the terms of a one- <br />year labor agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and AFSCME have reached tentative agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of staff to do the following: authorize the following terms <br />of a one-year agreement between the City of Ramsey and AFSCME: <br /> <br />Wages: <br /> <br />2007-3% plus applicable step increases <br /> <br />Insurance: <br /> <br />2007: Aware Gold Single: $437.50 VEBA Single: $442.60* <br />2007: Aware Gold Family: $679.00 VEBA Family: $685.00* <br /> <br />*Note that these contribution amounts include the applicable <br />monthly fees for the City's VEBA plans. <br /> <br />Boot Allowance: <br /> <br />for Building Maintenance Workers <br /> <br />Funeral Leave: <br /> <br />up to three consecutive days twice annually (a maximum of six days) <br />for the death of an immediate family member. <br /> <br />Holiday Pay: <br /> <br />Employees may take compensatory time-off. in lieu of taking <br />premium pay for hours worked on approved holidays. <br /> <br />Duration: <br /> <br />1 year <br /> <br />On Call Policy: <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />The Public Works Director and Assistance Director have <br />proposed-and AFSCME has accepted--the attached On Call <br />Policy based on the Department's current needs. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />
