Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07- 04 -XXX RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #07 -02 SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL RIVERWOOD HILLS PLAT 1) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted December 12, 2006, a feasibility study for the 2007 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #07 -02 (Sealcoat and Crackfill of the streets in the Riverwood Hills Plat 1 subdivision) and, WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #07 -01 -025 on January 23, 2007, fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. . WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held on February 13 2007, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on April 24, 2007. 2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3) The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and specifications.
